The Fake Diploma or Diploma Fake
January 17th, 2007

Life experience does not equal college credits. There are institutions like Belford University, for example, that create a fake accreditation agency and then in turn, accredit themselves. They claim that there are “shortcuts” to your degree, leading students to believe their degree is legit. These institutions require nothing of the student except an exorbitant amount of money.

There are websites that claim they are not fake and in the same breath, claim they are. For example, Accredited-non-fake-online-degree-mill.com contradicts itself on the first page! They even offer fake certificates of excellence, distinction, and membership (Of what, we do not know.) to sweeten the deal.

Affordabledegree.com is another fake diploma mill preying on those with low self-esteem and rough relationships. Degreeagency.com is a mill offering doctorate degrees for life experience. These institutions charge upwards of $1000 to mail a meaningless piece of paper to their victims. Do not fall for this scam. You will spend your hard-earned money on disappointment and despair. What’s worse, you won’t be able to use that degree to get a job. Ever.

Once a fake-degree holder enters the job market, they quickly find that employers pass over them for legitimate degree holders. This, in turn, also causes the employer to lose faith in the online education system. However, you can protect yourself.

When choosing an online college, check their accreditation through the US Department of Education. You can also check their legitimacy at the Council for Higher Education Accreditation website. If you find a fake university, write to the Diploma Mill Police that authenticates online institutions.

The only way to earn a legitimate degree is hard work, study and exams that test your knowledge. There is no substitute for the knowledge you gain through actually attending online or campus classes, participating in discussions, and being advised by your degreed professor.

Mm. I take your point. At the same time, no amount of college teaches you rapport-building, networking, empathy or even time-management. These are things only life can teach … and without them, you ain’t gonna thrive in the real (postmodern) world…

    Pete,

You are correct, but there is no legitimate diploma awarded for such qualities. A person’s resume is the most ethical way to display the life skills that college does not teach. Trying to use a diploma awarded by a fake diploma mill will only cause a loss of credibility in the potential employer’s eyes.

    Brianna and Pete,
Fake diploma is despicable but life skills are golden. In the postmodern world, you can succeed without a college degree. I have a college degree but my income for many years has been a product of my life skills, not my college degree. So, I condemn fake degrees and commend life skills.

First of all, there is a big difference between a fake diploma and a fake degree. What harm is there in having a fake diploma? I mean, come on!

The problem is, a lot of companies are scams. Which is wrong. My buddy bought one before, trustworthy place called DiplomaCompany.com

  5. Brianna Says:

No…there is no difference. A fake diploma is still unearned and dishonest. Most employers will not accept a diploma from a diploma mill as proof of high school education. A GED is the best way to go for those without a high school education.

The harm is that the person will likely be overlooked for a job because of the unaccredited diploma he presents. Good luck to your buddy. If a company is hiring him based on that diploma, then that company should be held responsible for aiding the uneducated American in his quest of laziness.

Diplomacompany.com offers fake transcripts and degrees…NOT TRUSTWORTHY!!!

  6. Brian Wilson Says:

The type of product a company offers doesn’t make them trustworthy or untrustworthy! I don’t know if you understand what the word means? If you call a company, place an order, and your order arrives as sold, then they are a trustworthy company.

It isn’t like you’re meeting somebody behind an alleyway? haha They have toll-free support, chat, and email! I mean, come on…

You may not agree or like what they sell but that does not make it untrustworthy. You can’t say they are ripping people off and aren’t honest, as a business.

Diploma Company is a company that supplies what they advertise. My friend bought one and it came in. It was a joke, a gag gift! I was merely making a suggestion, not necessary defending the company itself. BUT they gave him what they advertised. That is my definition of trustworthy.

BUT places sell products all the time that people don’t like… including guns and x-rated movies. They are still trustworthy. They still give people what they pay for. They aren’t a scam! Maybe unethical in your view, but still trustworthy, in regards to being a respectable company nonetheless.

I see no problem in what DiplomaCompany offers. It’s just like buying a gun. People may use it to go hunting and some may use it for murder. The gun shop has no control over the use of their products, once they leave their store.

I would try calling them and placing an order, before you accuse them of something that isn’t true.

    Take Care,

    Brian

  7. Brianna Says:

    Brian,

A trustworthy company would not try to con its patrons into thinking that that a fake diploma will get them somewhere in life. It’s just a cop out, a helping hand to scam employers. THAT is not trustworthy. Don’t get into an ethics argument with me.

I’m considering this discussion closed becuase there is nothing more to say. Fake diploma speak for themselves.

    You take care,

    Brianna

  8. Crystal L. Says:

A fake diploma is a fake like a fake watch. Their is nothing wrong with havening it. If you use it wrong or sell the items as being legit then the company would not be trustworthy. I checked the diploma company site and many more. They all state clearly to me what they are intended for. I am actually going to purchase one for a different degree then my real one and hang it on my wall.

  9. Brianna Says:

What would you use it for, then? The only thing I can think of is to deceive someone about your education. It’s dishonest, and you didn’t earn it.

About the fake watch thing, I’m assuming you mean a brand-name knock-off? In case you didn’t know, those are illegal. Try a different analogy, sweetheart.

Brianna is a stuck up bitch that obviously doesn’t have a life!!
