Learn all about Aston University in Birmingham UK

It was founded in 1895 and became a University in 1966. Aston University is renowned for its world class Teaching Quality and Research and it has a record of being consistently amongst the best in the United Kingdom.

Aston University has strong links with industry, government and commerce.

It has a graduate employment record that is second to none and in 2006 the national average for graduates entering employment was 71% but from Aston University it was 84%, this is the highest proportion for a mainstream University in England and Wales. Between 1987 and the present day, a higher proportion of the graduates have found employment within 6 months of graduation more than any other British University.

Aston University is placed twelfth overall out of one hundred and thirteen Universities, this is stated in the “ The Good University Guide 2008,” which was published in The Telegraph and sponsored by Price Waterhouse Coopers, published in July 2007. Read the rest of this entry »
